Villa Tymnessos is a charming, spacious, 4-bedroom family-friendly villa with a private pool. Every room in the villa plus the 4 balconies and 3 terraces provides stunning sea views. Offering 2 separate living rooms and numerous outdoor spaces, the villa affords larger groups privacy and plenty of space to relax. We have tried to make the villa feel comfortable and relaxing. The villa is located in Kalamar Bay, which is quiet and away from the tourist focus of Kalkan village, and which we believe adds to the serenity and relaxing atmosphere of the villa. We have decorated the villa with many locally produced crafts and linens, and we try whenever possible, to buy locally. The villa offers an excellent selection of quiet outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy stunning views. In addition to sea-facing balconies, guests can enjoy the shaded terrace on the pool level and a shaded dining terrace on the 1st floor. The popular roof terrace offers unmatched and uninterrupted sea views across Kalamar Bay and the surrounding countryside. A Turkish charcoal BBQ grill is available for guest use. What makes the villa so special? It has to be the view. Where ever you are in the villa you have incredible views of the Mediterranean, the neighboring hills, the goats wandering the hill to the right of the villa, and the Taurus mountains behind Kalkan. But it will be the sea views that will always grab your attention and which you will remember after you return home.

Large enough and more with a great pool and view. Balconies on each floor, a rooftop terrace, very well stocked kitchen. I also like that the ground floor next to the pool had a play area inside and toilet (though there are toilets also on every floor).
Hallo, wir waren mit unseren Freundin in der wunderschönen Villa von Sean und Morgan. Es war alles perfekt! Wir hatten nicht mal das Bedürfnis rauszugehen, obwohl wir kalkan noch nicht vorher besucht hatten, weil die Villa einfach sehr schön und sehr ruhig ist. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause. Wir hatten lustige Momente und traumhafte Augenblicke. Die Kommunikation war reibungslos und auch Tefik war sehr höflich. Ich würde die Villa jederzeit wieder mieten und wünsche jedem, der die mietet, genau die gleichen Erlebnisse ☀️ danke Morgan, danke Sean :)

Wir hatten allen Luxus den man sich vorstellen kann. Es war wunderbar. Die Kommunikation war mit den Besitzern einwandfrei ,sie haben sich sofort um unsere Belange gekümmert. Man sollte sich an die Besitzer dann aber direkt wenden wenn man Probleme hat, dann wird schnell und unkompliziert geholfen.
Great holiday, spacious villa, very comfortable amazing view. Walk down to Kalkan too much for me in August hot weather, but local taxi only £3.

The Area
Kalkan village is a comfortable 15-minute stroll (less than 5 minutes by taxi). Kas, with its pretty harbour, Lycian and Hellenic period ruins and easy day-ferry access to the Greek island of Kastelorizo is 22km from the villa.
Beaches and Beach Clubs
The Kalamar Bay Beach Club and deep sea diving center are a 5-minute walk from the villa and a courtesy shuttle is available. The beach club offers sun loungers, parasols, and all kinds of water activities for kids and adults. Kalkan has a pretty, crescent-shaped Blue Flag pebble beach in addition to several other public beach clubs. Kaputas beach and Patara beach and its Lycian ruins are easily reached by car or taxi.
Day Trips
If you enjoy a day on the water why not take a gulet cruise from Kalkan harbor? Private charter cruises can be arranged by talking with the individual boat captains at the harbor while larger, group excursions depart from the harbor on a regular basis. Other interesting day trips include a visit to Butterfly Valley while a visit to Saklikent Gorge, followed by a traditional Ottoman-style lunch served on cushioned platforms that overlook the streams below, is a must.
Families with Children
Kalkan is very family-oriented and most restaurants can easily accommodate families with young children. Several small playgrounds are located near the villa. A visit to the Thursday market is a wonderful family outing and is a great place to pick up souvenirs. We recommend that families consider renting a car for part or all of their stay at the villa in order to explore the area.
Although Kalkan is quite hilly, a car is not required to enjoy all that Kalamar Bay and Kalkan have to offer. Taxis are plentiful and provide a convenient and inexpensive option. A courtesy shuttle service is available during the summer months transporting guests to and from the Kalamar Bay Beach Club.
