Fantastic “MeiMei” apartment for 2-4 persons, 2 bedrooms or 1 bedroom and 1 office, outdoor kitchen on private terrace, air conditioning, hot water and refrigerator. Large swimming pool with children's pool, porch with large kitchen and BBQ. Mini resort with 4 apartments, 15 minutes to town/beach. The Airbnb amount includes use of utilities, air conditioning, cleaning and tax. Apartment “MeiMei” has two bedrooms, of course an excellent bathroom and is suitable for 2-4 persons. You really get that tropical feeling with the kitchenette, which is outside on your own covered terrace. If you still like to cook elaborately from time to time, then use the spacious kitchen with all facilities on the shared Porch. Amigunan is a mini resort with 4 apartments for 2 to 14 people. Through the tropical blinds door you enter your apartment. You unpack your suitcase and store your clothes in the wardrobe. Of course, you can do this later or not at all. Just living out of the suitcase is also possible. There is a safe to store your valuables. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and air conditioning. You decide whether you want to enjoy the cold of the US or Europe a while longer, or whether you prefer to feel the sultry Caribbean wind through your room. Do not use the air conditioning when the doors are open, no one has been able to influence the temperature on the island with an air conditioning! Of course, free Wi-Fi is available throughout Amigunan. But immediately a warning: You are on vacation and all those e-mails, stock prices and news can be for some time with less personal attention from you. Enjoy the island, the residents and all the fun things you can do. Because there are plenty of them! All bathrooms have cold and hot water. The water is heated by solar panels. If you're planning on touring the island or visiting bays, take the provided cooler with you. You can buy beer, wine, fresh and a bag of ice cubes at any (snack)bar. You'll have plenty of chilled drinks with you all day. Drinking a lot of moisture is important, because sweating causes you to lose a lot of moisture.

Die Appartementanlage ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes, ruhig, sehr gepflegt, mit schönen Pflanzen, gut gepflegtem Pool, und geeignet für Vogelliebhaber, da schon morgens Kolibris und andere Vögel in den Bäumen zu beobachten sind. Besonders geliebt haben wir die überdachte Außenküche mit dem Essplatz gleich daneben, so dass sich das ganze Leben im Freien abgespielt hat. Die herzliche Atmosphäre, die Eldon und seine Frau Hilly geschaffen haben, und der freundliche Kontakt mit den anderen Gästen vermittelten sofort ein heimisches Gefühl, so dass wir gerne länger geblieben wären. Die Tipps , von der Autovermietung bis zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (großer Supermarkt in nur 1,5 km Entfernung) und Ausflügen, waren alle sehr hilfreich. Man kann dort gut zur Ruhe kommen und das Leben genießen - und bei Bedarf in den Büchern schmökern, die im Appartment zu finden sind. Ein Mietauto ist empfehlenswert, um leicht in die Innenstadt und zu den Stränden zu kommen (jeweils 20 - 30 Min.).

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is so tropical with all the beautiful plants and the pool was very refreshing after being on the go all day. The outdoor space was nice to enjoy morning coffee and watch birds visit. At night you can hear the whistle frogs. I mentioned to Eldon we like to hike and he immediately hooked us up with a local guide who showed us Sint Joris Bay Area. I would definitely recommend staying here, we just felt right at home.

We loved Amigunan and were sad to leave! It is a really lovely little apartment space and the garden is beautiful. I was so happy to meet Eldon and Hilly and they showed us around the mini resort and introduced us to the other guests. Not to mention the pool space was so fun and relaxing! Eldon was also exceptionally helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and absolutely would come back! My only warning for mosquito-bite prone travelers is to bring some bug spray. For some reason I attract a lot of mosquitoes and got bitten quite a few times, but that is the price to pay for such a lovely garden! My friend did not have the same issue. Some TSA approved picaridin bug spray kept me comfortable

I had an amazing stay! They were so helpful my entire trip with helping give me suggestions of things to do & where to go. Eldon helped me with transportation the entire time. Very kind & extremely responsive. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe & looked after. The only thing I will say is the mosquitoes are definitely around so I would recommend some type of bug spray but that’s anywhere. So thankful again for all their help & hospitality!

Amigunan is centrally located in Curacao. The closest beach is less than 15 minutes away by car and the bustling shopping centres are also close by. Practically around the corner you will find 2 supermarkets with a very extensive range of international products.
If you'd prefer, Hilly and Eldon will make sure you have a few first items ready in the fridge.

出行信息

When you arrive at Hato Airport, you can take a taxi to Amigunan. If you have reserved a rental car with a pick-up service, you will be picked up by someone from the rental company.
Once you have arrived at Amigunan, you will meet the host or hostess who will take you to your apartment. You immediately get something cool to drink, because it is always wonderfully warm on Curaçao.
It's most convenient to rent a car. You can then explore the island at your leisure. Where you want to go and when you want. It's not recommended to walk due to the heat. And with public transport it can cost you quite some time.
