What a disapointment. To start with, the dirty “road” that leads to the property is so terrible, dirty and steep that we spent the entire week praying for the car not to fall apart on the way home. Do not come with a sporty car… The house itself is big but also very old and filled with “stuff”. Some may like it, but definitely not our style. The garden furniture is extremely dirty and the fabric ripped off, the toilet next to the kitchen was so stinky that we could never use it (and made sure to stay away from the door), the mattresses are good for the trash, and ants have a colony in the kitchen. The property management was of no help to address the smell in the toilet. We ended up checking out one day before term to get a good night of sleep in a hotel before travelling back home. Positive point: the view is amazing.

this house is amazing. location and view are even better than in the pictures. italian beds are a bit hard and uncomfortable, thats the same here, but its not even a problem because you want to be outside or elsewhere in this house... lots of privacy. beautiful pool. great extras and comforts.

Authentic Tuscan villa and this is the biggest value! Very spacious and picturesque! We definitely got the feeling we wanted - to live a week in an old and beautiful Tuscan villa :) PS! Pool was opened in (late) October and this was also very important for us as many villas do not use pools in October any more. Kristiina

Our group of five adults spent two glorious weeks at Villa Teresa in late May. We were very impressed with the villa itself and with the service provided by the rental agents. The view of the Valdichiana from the terrace where we spent most of our time is absolutely stunning, the bedrooms were nicely appointed with comfortable beds and pillows, and the pool was a welcome retreat when the heat got to be too much. The villa is ideally located near Cortona and only an hour or two away by car from some of Tuscany and Umbria's loveliest towns, including Orvieto, Siena, Montepulciano and Montalcino - and only a short train ride from Firenze. I would highly recommend Villa Teresa and would definitely stay there again!
