Everything and more. With all the COVID stress, the family needed a change of scenery. From the reservation time to the end of our stay, Anne was super responsive, understanding to our travel challenges and many questions. The Moulin is exceptional. As described, the "meunier stairs" are steep so not for family with kids on the younger side. Ours are old enough. Nothing says more relaxing then falling asleep at the sound of water (it is relaxing and not too noisy at all). The parents room is humongous with a beautiful view of the water. The back deck is definitely the spot to hang around and fish. We caught few which was fun. Some fishing materials is left for everyone to enjoy as well as a kayak and small rowing boat. The domain is beautiful and the common places (pingpong, swimming pool and foosball) are very clean and neat. The challenge was to leave the place to go local excursions. We wanted to just be with family and chill and we did a lot of that. What a treat. So for a place with a unique cachet, in the middle of the Loire Valley and with all the peace, tranquility, zen and fun, the Moulin du Breuil is your place.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Moulin de Breuil. It is an amazingly tranquil location and the river is perfect for fishing and going out in the rowing boat and canoe. It was also great to have use of the swimming pool and to go for walks around the estate.

What a lovely setting. The Moulin has everything you need. It's very tranquil. Our host was on hand to answer queries and had just the right amount of interaction. Pool and canoes all very good. Stairs very steep so not ideal for young children or elderly (fine for us). Lovely decked area over the river. We had a great holiday here and would recommend the location. Make sure you take mossie repellent. Thank you

De ontvangst was erg prettig en gastvrij, de houtkachel snorde al tevreden en gaf een heerlijke warmte af. De ligging van de molen in de rivier is fantastisch en het ruisen van de rivier is enorm ontspannend. De molen is dusdanig gelegen dat er heel veel privacy is. De ruimtes binnen zijn prachtig en ruim. Het park rondom de molen is bijzonder fraai en nodigt uit tot wandelingen. We zijn vast van plan om nog een keer terug te komen

We have just returned home after a wonderful week at the Moulin du Breuil. Our lovely host Anne met us as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The moulin has been beautifully restored and consequently retains it's lovely charming, authentic character. At the same time it is extremely well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Living their is very comfortable indeed. The situation right in the middle of the river l'indre is spectacular. We have come home with many photos as the views are irresistible ! While the moulin is very private and tranquil, the village of Monts is just a few minutes away and has all the amenities you could want. The owners have provided a lovely swimming pool built in between the restored stables and the orangery. There are comfy sun loungers on a wooden deck surrounding the pool. In the orangery you can play ping pong. There are changing rooms, a kitchen and a loo so you can spend the whole day by the pool if you want. The grounds around the moulin, chateau & manoir have been beautifully kept with paths cut where you need them and long grass and wild flowers everywhere else and this gives Le Breuil a romantic, quintessentially French charm. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and sunbathing. We canoed up and down the l'indre and did some fly fishing. Other highlights of our stay were shopping in Tours and spending a few hours at the extraordinary chateau and gardens at Villandry. Lunch at La Doulce Terrace right next to the chateau Villandry is also highly recommended. We had a fantastic holiday and we highly recommend the Moulin du Breuil.
