Juerg was an absolutely fantastic host!! He gave great suggestions for places to eat and things to do while in Aruba. He was very, very responsive and great about communicating before and during our trip. He arranged transport for us to the airport last minute when our shuttle fell through. We really liked the proximity of the home to multiple beaches. Of note, there are barking dogs every night that made it difficult for the people in the front bedroom (facing the road) to sleep, so you may want to think about some type of white noise. We had several episodes of geckos in the house, mostly on the kitchen windows, once near the bedrooms. Would have been nice to have an extra blanket for each of the bedrooms. We also would have liked some plastic cups and plates, especially to use around the patio/pool area. It was a great trip to Aruba, despite the stress of covid testing prior to arrival and departure.

My husband and I stayed here with 2 other friends. We loved how close the house was to the beaches and restaurants, and a grocery store. We rented a car, highly recommended to get around the island. There were some stray dogs that barked very loudly in the middle of the night that was particularly bad for us staying in the “sea” room as that faced the street. We ended up moving to the other bedroom and it wasn’t too bad from there. I would recommend some good earplugs just in case. The house was very clean, and the outdoor area was pleasant when we were done beachin it. The shower temperature knobs we’re backwards, took a few cold showers before we figured that out. The kitchen was big and had the essentials, it was nice to have the option to cook and save some money. Jeurg was very attentive and easily reached. He even called a cab for us one day when our friends were out with the rental car. Overall a great experience and would recommend staying here for your trip.

The house is lovely and extremely well taken care of. The location was great, close to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Juerg is a wonderful host and very helpful. He has great recommendations and is very quick to respond to questions. We look forward to coming back next year.

Booking at Jureg’s location was the best choice that we could make. We booked for 10 days 12/13-12/22 to celebrate graduation and had an amazing time. Jureg’s home far exceeded the pictures. His home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to cook. The two water is very drinkable and the ice is addictive. Check in was smooth and he met us at the house. He provided great tips for eating and places to visit. He even took the time to write on the tourist map so that we wouldn’t miss a thing by forgetting. He gave us discount cards and showed us everything we needed to know about staying at his home. The pool was clean and provided a nice chilled dip when the sun was at its peak and from out of the pool to the hammocks to dry was super groovy! We really enjoyed staying here. He checked in on us from time to time via what’s app to make sure we were ok and he was readily available to answer questions no matter the time of day/night. The beds were super comfy and the adjustable part was a very nice add on. He even provided beach towels in each room. No matter where we wanted to go, we seemed to only be 10-15 mins from the locations even closer (about 7mins) to Eagle Beach. Staying here beats being at crowded hotels. The location is safe, quiet and most of all private. He’s got great black out shades in the bed rooms, so if you want to sleep late the sun won’t be a bother. I rested well there. Bring your best WHOLE bean coffee. His machine is amazing! I can’t say enough about how relaxing this vacation was and Jureg and his home was a big part of making it so. Stay here, honestly, I promise you won’t regret it and you certainly won’t want to leave! It’s one happy island for a reason. My first time, but definitely not my last. Jureg’s home will be my home once a year. Merry a Christmas and happy new year Jureg and see you next October!
