The wife and I had a lovelyl, peaceful ten days here. The cortijo had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The outside space is wonderful. Various places to relax in and out of the sun. beautiful plants, trees and cactus are lovely to be around. Morning coffee is a delight as you watch the sunrise over the hills then you'll be able to sunbathe all day if that's your thing, or retreat to the shade. The pool is lovely, large enough for a gentle swim and deep enough for a careful dive, but perfect for just floating around on a pool hammock. WiFi seemed to work well all over the property, you can insta from the pool. A second covered area with marble counter and sink with a proper brick chimney BBQ was a joy to cook on. We walked to the "Meson Bar Piedra" which was lovely for lunch, but a steep climb back after a few beers and tapas. Car is essential, the supermarkets in town fine, but as already said be prepared for a winding, steep first gear drive to get there! Enjoy.

Es una casa preciosa, con unas vistas increíbles e ideal para descansar en familia y disfrutar de la montaña en la costa. Elisa siempre muy atenta y la casa está muy equipada y muy bien. Gracias por todo!

Ein perfektes Cortijo. Etwas abgelegen aber nicht zu weit. Genau richtig. Es hat alles was man braucht. Sauber und privat geführt. Sauberer Pool und sehr schönes, rustikales Haus mit echtem Grill und schöner Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch Almunecar hat alles was man braucht und war uns auch sehr sympatisch.

A delightful, secluded villa in the hills above Almuñécar. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, we had a lovely stay. Only two issues - one the owners are clear about - the slightly challenging drive up to the villa and one they have no control over - the constant baking of local dogs in the evening.
