Tricia’s property was absolutely beautiful and had the ability to accommodate all of the family comfortably. The property had everything we needed and more!! The views were outstanding. Tricia was a fabulous host, who could not have done more for us. Communication was fantastic from initial enquiry all the way through. We would not hesitate to recommend both the spacious, welcoming accommodation or the host.

We shared the space with some friends and a total of 5 kids. The house is spacious and everyone felt like at home. Everything was easy with Tricia and communication was excellent. She really was above 100% to make us feel like at home!

Tricia was unbelievably accommodating for the whole trip. She greeted us at the house with a lovely welcome hamper and made sure we were up to speed and ready to answer any questions. The place itself is gorgeous, and we felt right at home and couldn't have asked for anything more. She was on hand to answer any questions throughout the weekend and gave us great recommendations. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great family holiday with our 3 adult sons, their partners and our dog over New Year. The house was really well equipped and very comfortable. Tricia’s responses from the initial booking, in the lead up to our stay and during our stay were speedy and friendly. The welcome hamper was full of delicious goodies and seems to disappear very quickly, the fresh flowers were also much appreciated. The host’s guide book was excellent, we visited Saunton Sands, Braunton for excellent fish and chips at Squires, Putsborough Sands, Woolacombe and walked over to Hele Bay from the house. After blustery coastal walks in the mornings we were happy to avoid the rain and hunker down in the lovely, cosy house in the afternoons and evenings. Half the group got in the sea at Woolacombe on New Year’s day, some of us felt that being on the beach to support the swimmers was equally important!

Our stay at the Captain's House far surpassed our expectations, the property was perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of bathrooms, with an extra back room for the children to enjoy as a play room. All the rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were really comfortable. Would highly recommend as a comfortable and cosy home, with lots of thought for the little details and all agreed one of the best showers we've ever had. It was also the best stocked property we've ever stayed in with large bath towels. The property was much closer to town than we expected and it was lovely being able to get to the little beaches and harbour within a 10 to 15 min walk. Tricia, was an extremely thoughtful and attentive host. Was always quick to respond to any questions and genuinely cared about us having a relaxing family Christmas. Thank you for making it so memorable for all of us.
