Sachiko-san is one of the best host that I’ve ever met on Airbnb. Her house is a typical Japanese building in a quiet but combinent suburban area. The house is located near a beautiful river, it is quite and calm and each day I can breath the fresh air outside. There are many wooden decoration in the room that were made by Sachiko-san herself and all of them were very beautiful and exquisite. Sachiko-San was very kind to help me do the check in and check out and prepared daily necessities as well as travelling guides in the room. She is also very open minded and love to exchange cultural background with foreign guests. I’m really grateful to her for the organization of various activities for us in her home. I enjoyed the quality time with Sachiko San as well as all the people I’ve met in this house. I sincerely recommend this house and I wish I can stay here again if I have another chance to visit Japan.

The entire house was very clean, the neighbourhood had some great places to go to and everything I needed was there. What really made this place something to remember for me, however, was the hospitality. All family members were so kind and helpful and it really helped make my vacation to be as great as it was.

I had a wonderful stay with Sachiko and her family. Foreign tourists not accustomed to Japan may not understand the value of being in the west suburbs, but if willing to navigate available busses and trains, you have relatively easy access to various train lines to get you into the city or wherever you want to go. And there are also the relatively less known sites available locally as well as experiencing/observing every day life in greater Tokyo. Sachiko and family are available to engage, but also very open to guests independently doing what they need to do. I experienced both--and this was perfect for my purposes, and I'm very grateful to Sachiko and her family for a wonderful stay.
