Our comfortable 1 bedroom self contained and private basement apartment has easy access to downtown Toronto by Go Train. Cheery, and well lit, it comfortably fits up to 3 people and is centrally located with restaurants, coffee shops and shopping close by! The closest park is Rotary Center Park. 8 min drive to Heydenshore beach. UOIT and Durham College are the closest post-secondary schools. Enjoy a full kitchen, free parking, free wifi, basic cable and Netflix & easy access to downtown Whitby. This is a self contained, private space with a separate entrance. There is one queen bed in the bedroom. An extra foam mattress can be provided for a 3rd person if needed but please let us know so that we can prepare for your arrival. Please note that this is a basement apartment and it has one bulkhead that a person 5'11 and taller would need to duck below to pass by. The washroom is complete with a shower and make up area for getting dressed and ready to enjoy your time. Fresh, clean towels and linens are always provided to my guests. Enjoy cooking with stainless steel appliances in the eat-in, spacious kitchen. If cooking isn't your thing, not to worry! There are plenty of amazing restaurants close by to enjoy amazing food. Downtown Whitby is within walking distance and the local bus is a short walk from the place. Enjoy streaming TV and Netflix access included. There is an Apple TV available for your use as well. The space is freshly painted with new cookware and some new appliances as well; including the fridge, toaster and electric kettle. 2 matching cozy robes are provided for your use while you stay as well. There is a Nespresso machine with coffee pods provided for you. If you prefer tea, not to worry we provide that as well! I strive to ensure that my guests are happy so if you need anything at all, just ask me!

Tara is very responsive and her place is very nice it was perfect for my daughter and I, wifi was great as I had to work as well. Close to many amenities! Would stay again if needed!
My husband and I stayed at Tara’s place while we were working in Whitby and it was exactly what we needed. Located conveniently with many nearby amenities (recommend Crave Doughnuts right across the street!) The space was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable, and Tara thought of all the little extras. We really appreciated all the little touches! Tara was very friendly and communicative during our visit. Would definitely recommend Tara’s place!
Tara was fantastic, she made me feel right at home as I was traveling for a short stay during a funeral. She helped me out with a few extra items and was very respectful and responding. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Surrounded by restaurants and amenities; Crave donuts is steps away and a super popular spot to satisfy your sweet tooth! Be sure to go there early though, the line up can get long and they sell out quickly! Brothers Restaurant is also steps away-a well established Italian restaurant offering delicious food- I personally love the lasagne and pizza. In the same plaza is a Chinese takeout place! A short walk down the street and you will find yourself at Dairy Queen, and Subway sandwiches chain. But I really want to mention Los Cabo's Mexican restaurant - catering to gluten free diets and taco lovers! My favourite dishes there to mention are the surfer girl burrito, tacos and quesadillas. Yummy!!! There's an Indian food restaurant close by as well. Another block away and you will find yourself surrounded by many options including all you can eat sushi, and A short drive away is the movies, ifly, many restaurants and Canadas own Hollywood cone! If you love ice cream this is a must-just check out the mutant shakes in the photo gallery! Sooooo good! There's a McDonalds at this intersection as well as a grocery store, Melanie Pringles diner, Coffee Culture, Starbucks and a Dollarama along with and LCBO and banks, etc. These are all walkable distance. But there's more. If you go eastbound you will find about 10 mins walk that you are right downtown Whitby! More restaurants and bars are found here for your entertainment and enjoyment. KB restaurant is known for delicious food and the Vault offers a unique dining experience-there is an old bank vault in this restaurant, it's really cool. The Tap and Tankard is a bar with a pool table, and has around 50 different types of beer to choose from! Stay there a bit later and a DJ will play some songs for the dance floor!
There are also a coin operated laundromat, convenience store, beauty salon and bus stop only steps away from the apartment!
This is an extremely accessible location. Commute by car easily as this location is close to the 401 and 412 highways. Bus stop is steps away and will take you to the GO Train which takes 45mins to downtown Toronto. Connects with UP express train which goes to Pearson Airport. If staying local is your thing you can walk about 10 mins to the popular “four corners” in downtown Whitby. Many tasks can be accomplished on foot.
