We are Donna & Joe Meeks of Pensacola, FL, owners of The French Townhouse, a 3000 sq. ft. luxury, boutique-style property in Biloxi and The Bay House, a 3000 sq. foot home on a private beach on Pensacola Bay. We enjoy traveling & seeking out unique vacation accommodations like The French Townhouse and The Bay House to enhance vacation experiences & transform them into treasured memories. This spurred us to create these properties as a destination for other travelers looking for a unique & fulfilling vacation experience. Both Joe & I attended The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. After earning a B.S. degree in 1981 and then a Master’s Degree & National Board Certification in Elementary Education, I taught 1st & 2nd grade for 29.5 years before retiring from Biloxi Public Schools in 2010. Joe graduated in 1980 with a degree in Business & opened Coastal Machinery, a Kubota tractor/machinery dealership in Pensacola, Florida. The French Townhouse serves as a fun escape for guests from around the world, which have included the CEO of Trump International Hotels, Prime Minister of Agriculture of Canada, owners of national companies, inventors, world-class restaurateurs, celebrities, professional athletes, and all-around wonderful, nice, fun-loving people. And, they ALL gave up stellar 5-Star ratings! You will be in good company! Having done freelance work in interior design the past 30 years, with Joe's input we transformed The French Townhouse into 3,000 sq. ft. of complete, sophisticated indulgence for the discerning traveler. With extensive experience in planning & a lifetime spent in the Deep South, Joe & I are perfect resources to answer questions & help make your stay unforgettable & seamless. With stunning architectural details, sitting nooks, library, business center and private courtyard, our objective is to pamper guests at The French Townhouse with an exclusive European experience with complete use of the entire property. In the heart of Biloxi’s Historic District, just one block (800 feet) from the beach and the two major casino resorts (Beau Rivage and Hard Rock), it is an experience that you will not soon forget. From the symphony to crabbing, with so many activities within walking distance of The French Townhouse, no matter what activities you enjoy, they are sure to be better from HERE! The Bay House in Pensacola offers guests fun on the water while also being extremely close to famous Palafox Street and many other popular things in Pensacola. While the property is on it's own 150 ft. beach, it is only 9.4 miles to Pensacola Beach, if guests would like to try it out while they're there.
