I cannot recommend a stay with Frans and Tineke highly enough. The farm and apartment were very pleasant, and it was fascinating to learn some about feijoa and sustainable farming during my stay as well.

Highly recommend! Tineke and Frans were helpful and friendly, and the apartment was clean and very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in. I loved that they included a bowl of fresh fruit, much of it from their orchard. An added bonus when I stayed: they were harvesting capsicum and feijoas. I got to see some of how they process the fruit and get it ready for distribution. Fascinating! Friendly, smart people who are willing to share about their passion for eco-friendly growing.

A stone’s throw away from the town and of course Hobbiton, yet peaceful and therapeutic with the surrounding orchard. Frans and Tineke are very hospitable to make us feel right at home.
