I absolutely loved my stay at Gayle’s place! I had just moved to Harare and Gayle was helping me in settling in wherever she could. The place is a cozy little cottage with 1 bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and an outside kitchen that has everything you need. The garden is beautiful and in a quiet environment. Fresh eggs and fresh milk for breakfast were a highlight, so were the occasional visits by little Parker (dog). Glad I found this place, thank you for everything!

We stayed 1 month at Gayle’s place. It’s cozy and has an extremely beautiful garden in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. Unfortunately we did not communicate much with Gayle as she was very busy. Janet and Archie are wonderful and very helpful. A minus for us is the placement of the cottage/bedroom next to the garage, connected through a window, which resulted in waking up each morning to the starting of a car engine combined with the smell of car exhaust. Due to a long period of drought it unfortunately didn’t feel safe to use the pool due to cleanliness. They fixed it one week before we left. The kitchen material such as pots, pans and cutlery are very used and should be exchanged. The freezer in the fridge is open so that everything freezes and vegetables tend to get bad quickly. Overall the kitchen is less inviting to cook on a daily basis. Due to the location of the cottage next to the main entrance of the house there is little privacy. Internet is fast and stable.

Our stay was during the holidays so she was also on holiday but we never felt as if she wasn’t around. She assisted us with anything we wanted virtually. Archie was super helpful too. The place is beautiful and serene. With this load shedding, there was never a day we went without electricity or hot water. Beautiful place with a Superb Host!

This was a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, with tons of fruits trees, chickens, and vegetable garden. The pool well kept. The breakfast every morning was amazing!! Not often that you get farm fresh eggs and milk with your accommodation. The outdoor kitchen is well stocked, with all amenities one could want. Janet is a wonderful help with any questions about how to use stove, wifi, etc. The wifi did not work on the first half of my stay, but was fixed about halfway through.
