Our stay at Kaweah Cottage was a dream. Kathleen welcomed us like family and showed us around the expansive, stunning property so that we could explore on our own later. My kids LOVED creek hopping, visiting with the dogs and the sheep, traversing the rocks and open space, and making s'mores under a million stars. My husband and I loved morning coffee on the deck watching the light change on the mountain, the beautifully appointed and cozy home, and the way the land seemed to have new magic and surprises around each bend. Kathleen, Juliana and Matthias obviously steward it with deep care, respect and love. The short drive into Sequoia/Kings Canyon was easy! The Cottage had wonderful guide books that helped us decide which hikes would be best for our crew. We got home yesterday, but are already planning for a return trip during warm weather, for more time in the creek and river! This was the perfect place for joyful, peaceful, quality time together, immersed in nature.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Kaweah Cottage. The cottage has the most gorgeous surroundings and it was the perfect place to unplug and unwind and take in fresh air. We loved playing in the creek and hiking around the property and hunting for four leaf clovers (we found 15!!). The hosts were incredibly responsive and reachable via text with great recommendations. We enjoyed our spring break visit but definitely want to return and check out what it would be like during a different time of year!

We had a wonderful stay. We are eager to return when the weather warms so we can take advantage of the wonderful slick rock river slides! The cottage is wonderfully appointed. If you're a cook, it's a dream to cook there! The hosts were warm, inviting, and communicative.
