The apartment is 100 meters from the historic center where you can find the National Palace of Sintra, several cafes and restaurants, the tourist office and a bus stop that takes you to see more monuments known as the Pena Palace, Moorish Castle and Monserrate. From the apartment you can walk up to Quinta da Regaleira just 10 minutes.

The train station is a 15 min walk from the apartment. For tourist visits, is 100 meters from one bus stop that will take you to know the best known monuments of Sintra as the Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle and Monserrate.
By decision of Sintra Town Hall, access to the Historic Centre of Sintra where your flat is located is restricted and blocked by automatic gates.
It will only be possible to access the site by car between 7pm and 9am the following day. Outside these hours, you can access the flat freely on foot or by taxi (the only authorised transport vehicle).
Please note that you can try to leave your bags at the flat with proof of reservation (it's up to the policeman on site to authorise this or not), but you will have to remove your car from the historic centre afterwards to avoid being fined.
