This rustic cabin near the river (but not too close) was a lovely spot to spend a couple of days. Some people might find it a bit spartan for longer stays, but for me it was perfect. Lovely porch/veranda with a variety of options for relaxation and a cool breeze under the trees. Excellent spot! Also, Inés is a top notch host, very communicative and flexible. 10/10!
Die Unterkunft 15 Autominuten / 60 Gehminuten außerhalb von Choachi ist paradisisch mit einem Riesigen Garten und einer wundervollen Terrasse. Der Hausmeister Mario hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns alle Hilfe angeboten die wir brauchten. Auch der Kontakt mit Ines war sehr gut und ihre Tips sehr hilfreich. Das Anwesen liegt ein Stück außerhalb von Choachi. Es gibt keine Taxis (aber Chivas/Tricicle die als solche funktionieren). Eine Anreise mit eigenem Auto ist zu empfehlen. Das Grundstück selbst ist paradisisch mit schönen Pflanzen, Vögeln und Schmetterlingen. Vom Grundstück aus lassen sich schöne Wanderungen starten.
If you love staying in a nature setting this is your place as you are staying in an amazing garden. For first timers to this property, suggest you be careful with your vehicle selection. Rent an automatic transmission as you are basically driving up and down a mountain. The house is in the valley surrounded by natural. If you are not comfortable with insects be aware you will find them as the place is a leaky. Its amazing how well insulated the place is despite the leakiness. My wife and I found our five days at this place to be truly amazing having dinner outside each night and just hanging out watching the bird reserve. Yes...a bird reserve is right there to observe them. Visiting the local towns takes a little while to get there because of the roads but the trip is worth it. You are basically visiting the real Columbia and how people live and depend upon each other. There are plenty of amazing hiking trails within two hours or less. We also hiked along the nearby river.

自我介绍
I love nature, beautiful things, kindness, intelligence, generosity, a sense of humor creativity and honor. I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, I attended a very progressive school during the sixties, had a short stint as a host for a children's TV program and then I went to law school. While in university I discovered that the world was huge! filled with ideas, interesting people, fantastic possibilities. I went to the mountains north of Colombia with my boyfriend to a totally primitive and breathtakingly beautiful place. We lived there for over a year in a commune that formed itself in a very organic way. This was one of the best times ever. We had nothing and needed nothing else. Friendships forged during that time have been a constant in all of our lives and to this day not only are we close but our children as well. Alas! The practice of law was not my cup of tea and I pursued different and wonderful areas of development ( I still do ) with mixed results but with really amazing travels and experiences. Today I find myself living in the US and loving being a host for airbnb. I did not imagine I would like it so much but I certainly do. Our home in Miami is beautiful and our cottages in Colombia as well. I believe in paying forward and in the strength of kindness and compassion. I enjoy sharing my love for Latin and world music, exciting art, really good writing and good conversation. My experience as a host has been tremendously rewarding. Meeting so many new people in particular so many young people is great. Listening to their stories, expectations, and hopes is wonderful. As a host, I encourage you to ask questions from us particularly if there is any feature you consider important in your decision- making process. We answer immediately so that you have all the elements in hand to make a sound and accurate decision based on facts. Our aim is to make sure our guests are comfortable, feel safe, perceive value and are happy with their choice.
