Linh is a great host. We were a group of 14 friends ( 7 adults + 7 kids ) and she organised everythink for us. She picked us from Ha Tien with 16 persons car and showed us real life of Mekong delta. We didn't have to worry about enythink. She took us to many interesting places. If You want to feel real Mekong life just contact with Lihn.

Linh is very friendly and helpful. Before our stay at her place, she helped us arranging a floating market tour with a small private boat at Long Xuyen. As we had some dufficulties finding the Hotel, she assisted instantly. Our room was big, had an attached private bathroom and offers everything we needed. It was close to the local market at the riverside and the fact that hardly anybody speaks English is true. There are no other tourists and sometimes you might have a hard time finding what you want but in the end we got everything we needed. Linh gave us two bikes for free to discover the island that can be reached by crossing the river with a ferry and we think its definetly worth a look. For us it was perfectly fine and we had a short but great time at the village.

Linh war überaus hilfsbereit. Wir haben spontan unseren Aufenthalt verkürzt weil sich ein Freund aus Saigon gemeldet hat. Sie war sehr flexibel und entgegenkommend mit der Änderung. Am nächsten Morgen hat sie für uns einen Bus organisiert und ihn herbeigewunken. Eine echt süße und auch starke Frau, so war der Eindruck nach dieser kurzen Zeit. Im Ort ist man als weiße Person natürlich eine Attraktion und man wird angestarrt und gemustert. :-D und man wird freundlich gegrüßt, wenn man selbst auch lächelt und grüßt. Es war ein kurzer aber interessanter Aufenthalt. Nudelsuppen für umgerechnet 40 cent und andere kostengünstige Leckereien. Keine Touristenpreise!! Das ist auch viel Wert find ich. :-)

It’s really nice non turistical place to feel local life of Mekong delta. Linh is amazing host. She even stand up at 5 a.m to get tour with us to the floating market. Thanks!

The hotel we stayed in is Lin's larger property and it is still being fitted out. Linh herself is the important ingredient here. She has local knowledge and the fact she speaks English is really helpful in an area where they don't see many tourists. Markets are next door.
