This house is amazing! The only „bad“ thing about it, is that you don‘t want to leave to explore the Island, because the view from the livingroom is better than anywhere else😀 We loved it!

Very nice house with a really exceptional living room (stunning views!) and a very nice garden in a very quiet neighborhood. There's a huge dining room, a very nice bathroom, a fairly small kitchen, a comfortable bedroom and even another bedroom under the roof. The town (or should I say city?) of Vila Franca Do Campo with its infrastructure is only a few minutes away (by car) and we found the house to be an excellent base to explore the island. Upon previous occasions we stayed in the west of São Miguel which might look even more attractive, but if you are up for something in the east (e.g. visit the Gorreana Tea Factory), you will sit in your car for an hour and more. We felt that it was great to be in the middle of everything this time and explored a couple of new places in the east which we hadn't been to before. The weather was still a little bit chilly and like that the heating helped us to stay warm in the evenings. All in all a very enjoyable place to be - highly recommended!

Es una casa preciosa, ideal para una pareja con o sin hijos, porque cuenta con una habitación de matrimonio y otra abuhardillada con dos camas individuales. La reforma de la casa está hecha con mucho gusto. En verano, tiene pinta de ser más bien fresca y, el resto del año, hay suficientes calefactores eléctricos para no pasar frío. Sin duda, lo más espectacular es el salón, con las vistas del mar y la pequeña Ilhéu da Vila. Desde ahí pudimos ver varios arcoíris en días lluviosos, practicar yoga y el amanecer no tiene pérdida!! Además, cuenta con unos altavoces para amenizar cualquier velada. Margarida es excelente como anfitrión, siempre atenta, y tuvo con nosotros un detalle de bienvenida con productos locales, que agradecimos mucho. En definitiva, un alojamiento ideal para pasar días o semanas… ojalá poder volver!

If we ever come back to the Azores, we would gladly come to this house again - the seamless transition in between old and new make it very comfortable and cosy, everything is furnished with great taste. The kitchen has everything you might need. Even in January, the house doesn't feel cold - there is enough of added heating, and the stone floor did not feel cold either (maybe also because it is volcanic?) All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place for sure.
