JD was a pleasure to work with on this rental. He was very kind and responsive with questions about the apt's location, which was absolutely great for us attending ACL. While the outside of the apt is a bit dated, the apt's kitchen and living space is updated. JD was great in making sure we had what we needed with access to wifi, parking, and was kind to leave waters and treats for us. He also left his cell number and was very accessible and responsive to our questions. We had a great weekend and the proximity of his home to ACL was amazing. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the apt's bathroom and bedroom. Having to bleach and clean his tub was not what I was expecting to do upon arrival in Austin and there was some hair, dirt, and grime on sinks and floor. After contacting him, it sounds like the cleaning service did not come and he was genuinely apologetic about that. The bedroom was quite dusty and dirty as well, with hair and hair bands on and around the bed and floor. So, while we were not pleased with the condition of the bathroom and bedroom, the location of the apartment was excellent and JD was very personable and made the check in process quite easy.

JD was awesome! Easy to get ahold of and very pleasant to speak with. He left treats for us when we arrived and followed up to make sure that check-in was smooth. The listing is in a great location, easy to walk, uber, lyft, or car2go anywhere in the greater downtown Austin. His place was perfectly clean and organized as well!

We loved staying here! Really great location.. 15 min walk to FFF. Clean and nicely furnished! He had snacks waiting for us and was very flexible with our arrival and departure times! I would most definitely stay here again and this guy is awesome!

JD was great at communicating before and during our stay. The apartment was clean and well stocked with linens and even snacks! A great experience!
