Jacqui's home was a little peace of heaven. We were an overworked, exhausted, over-teched and stressed family and this little getaway was so restful and peaceful. You can tell that they put a lot of love in to making this a retreat. All of the beds and furnishings were so comfortable; I slept better than in my own bed. The games, books and dvds made up for the lack of wifi and gave us a lot of joy. We did not visit in a season where we could enjoy the water, but no matter- the nature, wildlife and surroundings were beautiful. Jacqui was very accommodating to our fluid schedule, and very easy to communicate with.

Jacqui’s cabin was the perfect quiet getaway. Right on the lake, we ate picturesque breakfasts every morning on the deck. The cabin is very cozy and a tranquil place to unwind. Would definitely recommend for a casual getaway with a small group or significant other.

This is our third year staying at the Spruce Lake cabin. Everything everyone else says is true - my blood pressure lowers immediately upon walking into that beautiful house. This stay, I spent most of my time in or on the water. Divine. The peacefulness seeps right through you - we leisurely canoed each morning and discovered an eagle, blue heron, and belted kingfisher (thank you, Merlin app). We read our books on the deck, in the sunroom, and on the most comfortable sofas ever in the living room. We cooked delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen. We always make sure to visit Little Falls (just about 15 minutes away) because we love its small businesses, trails, and worth-the-trip restaurants. The way Jacqui and Joe take care of this cabin is really impressive. Each year, there's an improvement - last year - a bathroom upgrade, this year - a new deck. The place sparkles. We're already figuring out next year's stay. Thank you, Jacqui!!

Amazing location on an incredibly untouched lake. The views were unbelievable from every angle, looking out over a mirrored view of the sky in a still and peaceful lake, with August water lilies in full bloom. My husband had great success fishing off the dock, and caught small pumpkinseed and a 14” small mouth bass. The boats were a huge benefit to enjoying our time with family as well. The cabin itself is the most handsome home on the lake and very roomy inside. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen with dishes, platters and utensils. If we ever had a question, Jacqui was incredibly responsive and quick to answer. A wonderful visit and highly recommended!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time! What stood out for us: the quiet and serenity, and the small lake that made it easy to swim to the middle of the lake, and so that our young kids could kayak and paddle board independently within view. Herons flew over in the morning, the campfire and stars at night were fantastic. The cabin was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. We found lots of literature for the local area. Wonderful reference books for trails. Kitchen: there was room to store our groceries and we had the kitchen supplies we needed. We used the big kitchen table for meals and games. The beds were very comfortable. We hope to come back - for us, it was just what we were looking for!
