Ben je op zoek naar een oase van rust, dan is een verblijf op het terrein van Inge en Theo een aanrader. De Airbnb is makkelijk te vinden (de beschikking hebben over een auto is wel een must). De keuken in de kamer is klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien. De (prachtige!) badkamer is voorzien van een ligbad. Het bed is 'af te sluiten' met een klamboe zodat je van muggen geen last hebt. Nog mooier zijn de vele zitplekken en hangmatten op het buitenterrein, waar onder andere een aantal katten en wat honden rondlopen. Ook is er een zwembad waar je een verfrissende duik kunt nemen. Genoeg plekken om tot rust te komen, een boek te lezen en/of te mediteren. Op een kleine 5 à 10 minuten met de auto is een supermarkt te vinden. Ook zijn op niet al te lange afstand meerdere dorpjes te vinden (o.a. Sagres, Lagos, Carvoeiro en Silves zijn de moeite waard). Kortom, dé ideale uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf aan de Zuidkust van Portugal.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Es war schön ruhig und abgelegen in der Natur. Wir konnten frisch Orangen und Zitronen pflücken. Alles in allem, war es sehr schön.

The property is magical! The unit was very comfortable and clean and had so much unique character. We loved the heated floors and climate control. The bathroom was AMAZING especially the large comfortable bathtub. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. My only regret was because of the rain we weren't able to enjoy the whole property as much as we wanted to, but we did get to try the sauna- don't miss out because it is so cool! Thank you Inge for providing a comprehensive binder with lots of local information. Can't wait to come back.

This place was an authentic rural paradise! It was even better than we expected. Everything is designed with intention and care, and ecologically minded (handmade soap was provided for example). The room was very cozy, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and the Quinta itself had so many places to wander around. Picture an orange grove, plants everywhere, olive trees, horses, a few friendly cats roaming around, and so many shared areas to relax, eat and read. There’s a splendid pool, as well as a sauna (for a small fee) which was wonderful for an off season stay in a chillier month like November. Inge was so welcoming and available, she really is the perfect host. You can even purchase jam made on the premises. This place is ideal if you are looking for a sustainable rustic experience in Portugal—it’s not far from the ocean and other villages, but it isn’t touristy at all. We are looking forward to coming back already and trying some of the other rooms as well!
