The volcans region of La Garrotxa is at only 46 km. Border with France at 35 mn. Airport Barcelona, at 1h30. Airport Girona, at 30 mn. Train station AVE / TGV in Vilafant, at 25 mn. Ski slopes at 1h50 in La Molina (Pyrenees). This 130 m2 apartament is very spacious. It is located on the ground floor of the main house. A very large kitchen, well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and toaster. Electric coffee maker, microwave, and fridge/freezer. – a large living room, 50 m2, with a fireplace and TV. DVD. CD. Radio. One bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with bath, shower and bidet. There is a door to the second bedroom. One bedroom with three single beds and bathroom with bath (externally accessible). Ideal for children. Private patio of 45 m2. Barbecue. KING SIZE in the double bed, 180 x 220 cm. WI-FI. Our recommendation: This apartment is ideal for organizing meals in groups, since the kitchen is divided into two parts and the dining room can seat up to 30 people.

Our stay here was our first with Airbnb and it could not have been better. The hostess Isabelle could not have been more helpful, both in supplying us sightseeing information as well as doing everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment did not disappoint it was really quaint and roomy and exceeded our expectations. The grounds were beautifully manicured and there is plenty of outdoor space for just relaxing or enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. The compound is located in a lovely small hamlet in the countryside. The location was perfect for exploring the north eastern region of Spain centrally located with great roads to all areas. So much to see within short drives or longer if you so choose. We are sorry we didn't stay longer.

The small community of Llampaies is situated towards the east of the region, not far from Camallera (2 km), where all kinds of amenities are available. The surrounding countryside boasts gentle rolling hills, farmland and coniferous woodlands. The tiny center of Llampaies is formed of typical local houses. The quarter around the church is the oldest part of the village. Around 100 meters to the north, is the smaller Vecindario del Puig, a group of houses, built in the 17th and 18th centuries. 200 meters from Vecindario del Puig is the Vecindario de los Masos. Some of the houses here date from the end of the 18th century, although the majority were built in the 19th century. There are around 100 people living in the center.

Hola a tod@s, Fue en Mayo del 2013 que decidimos venir a vivir aquí en la provincia de Girona ... y hacer un cambio radical de vida. Necesitábamos alejarnos de la ciudad, de la falta de respeto, de una convivencia que se hacía cada vez más insoportable, del egoísmo y anonimato que conocíamos en Barcelona. Ahora disfrutamos de estos pequeños detalles de cada día, en Llampaies, un núcleo de muy pocos habitantes: el cielo, sus amaneceres y puestas de sol, el ambiente rural al 100%. la naturaleza con nuestros insectos, plantas y árboles, nuestros animales con las gallinas y conejos, nuestro gato Llamp y sobre todo disfrutar cada momento con nuestros hijos, Roger y Oriol.
