Really disappointing. Was expecting something quite special from the listing but was let down in every respect - my room was not available to me on the first day, I had to go around trying all the doors to find an empty room (I ended up walking in on someone asleep). The host was extremely apologetic at the time and found me an alternative room for the night & also offered me a discount. When I reminded him of this on check out, he said that what he meant was the €10 difference in rate between the room I slept in first and the room I had for the rest of the time (I paid him €800 for my stay). In this room, there was mould & fungus on the walls, black mould in the shared bathroom, & a squashed bug on the floor for several days. There were very noisy people staying a couple of the nights keeping me awake. A vacated room beside me had the heating left on & beer bottles everywhere, which stank. This wasn’t cleaned for 2+ days. Room originally listed as having 2 beds. I would not recommend.

Great place to stay, will definitely return next year. Sauna was an added bonus which we took advantage of No kettle in the room to make a cup of tea there is facilities to make coffee though and no hair dryer. Caffe Max was the place to go he does food and beer and so welcoming - 5 mins walk which is handy after a few Belgium beers Overall a great place to stay and the house is huge and amazing ive never stayed in a house that big before.
