l'eau et l'électricité sont coupées trop souvent - trop de mouches dans la chambre, peut-être à cause de l'élevage de chevaux sous le balcon ? - aucune chaise ou coin penderie dans la chambre. Nous sommes partis 3 jours avant la date prévue à cause du confort trop sommaire. wi-fi coupée quand on en a besoin, il faut réclamer pour la mettre en route. La navette gratuite nous attendait comme prévu à l'aéroport. Mohamed reste un hôte sympathique.

I recommend this place very, very highly. It's about as peaceful as it gets in the area, as Giza is a noisy city and here is on the edge of the desert and a nice village. It's a comfortable room with a nice balcony. There are views of the pyramids from the sunny roof. I had my best breakfasts and dinner in my two months in Egypt here. But the most important thing is that Mohammad really, really went out of his way to meet my needs, which are many. He knows a great deal about the sites and I felt really comfortable with him. He lived in Holland for 10 years and is very smart and easy going. But most uniquely, he has local relationships that allow him to take you to places that are not open to the public. Absolutely incredible horse ride in the desert. A real highlight of my trip. Just note that if you, like me, are used to being independent, you need to know that here you will be quite dependent on him for everything. There are not many shops or restaurants around and it's not easy to find the place on your own. But Mohammad is willing and able to get you everything you need. Just needs some mosquito spray for the room but I"m sure he can deal with that. Awesome place!

We spent a wonderful two days at Mohamed’s place. He took us everywhere and organize a perfect program for us including horse riding in the desert, gizeh pyramids and lovely breakfast ! I definitely recommend this place far from the busy and polluted Cairo .

A great deal for the price; our hosts were very warm and welcoming and treated us like family. The room is 20 minutes from the pyramids and about 1 hour away from the airport. So the location is pretty far, but worth it if you plan on visiting the sights. Very friendly locals!

Freundliche Aufnahme, gutes Essen, aber einige Kritikpunkte, die stark vom angeblichen Angebot abwichen: Kein Balkon, Internet funktionierte nicht im Zimmer, keine Kochmöglichkeit, überteuert, gesprungene Duschwanne, häufige Strom- und Wasserausfälle (dann keine Benutzung der Toilette und kein Duschen möglich). Sehr ruhige Dachterrasse mit tollem Blick auf die Wüste und die Pyramiden von Abusir und Sakkara. Die auf den Fotos abgebildete tolle Sitzgelegenheit am Dach war aber ebensowenig vorhanden, wie manches andere. Um überhaupt sitzen zu können, mussten wir die Sitzgelegenheiten einen Stock tiefer hochtragen. Sehr freundlich, der Bruder des Besitzers, der versuchte, uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen.
