A quiet neighborhood with a large safe swimming beach within walking distance to the house.
Its best to bring your own groceries as the local store is limited.
Closes supermarket is San Remo 15 minutes away.
San Remo has 2 hotels and lots of eateries/cafe's.
Great fish and chips with Pelican feeding there at 12noon.
Coronet Bay has a walking/bike track directly behind the coronet bay beach all the way to Corinella, Kids stroller friendly, Maru Koala Reserve and Pirate mini golf is 10 minutes by car in Grantville, and with all the Philip Island attractions only 20 minutes away by car.
Coronet Bay is perfect for that total get away from the crowds, but still so close to the action and local attractions.
Only 10 minutes away is a BMX course and basket ball court with a walking track circuit.
So for venturing a little further afield, Phillip Island is famous for its wildlife, motor sports and host to many local wineries set overlooking the picturesque Southern Gippsland coastlines.
It's less than half an hour's drive from Coronet Bay to Phillip Island, where you can enjoy the penguin parades, seal rock, koala reserves, visit the Grand Prix track, skip over to Churchill Island, or for more relaxation, stop in at one of the island's several day spas.
Walk or bike ride, the bike track in Kilcunda and visit the famous tresses bridge.
The George Bass Coastal Walk has some of the best coastal scenery in the area, one of my favorites.
Golf weekends - near by Clubs Wonthaggi, Phillip Island, Lang Lang, Korumburra, Leongatha.

There is a local bus in Coronet Bay for heading out to the attractions of Philip Island ands surrounds
From Melbourne Airport there is no directed public transport, you will have to make your way to CBD (See below directions ) hiring a car is your best option.

From Melbourne CBD a train to Cranbourne or Merinda Park station then a bus to Grantville then a local bus to Coronet Bay ( please check Met link first for time tables and exact times etc. )
If you are arriving from oversea's from Tullamarine airport, please contact me as I may be able to drive you to the house for a fee, and organise sight seeing as your host for your stay, charges will apply.
