My family had a great time at Stony brook Farm. My husband and daughters took advantage of the last snowboarding weekend at Stowe and we wanted to find a place close by. The farm was perfect. Tom was very kind with helping my daughters feed the animals. He answered all of their questions. And they had a lot! The farm fresh eggs and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream left for us were an unexpected treat. We would definitely stay here again.

A great rural destination that's an easy drive from local attractions! Cozy, warm, the well water tasted amazing, and the fresh chicken eggs were great as well. One of the rooms is packed full of children's books, which my daughter read basically non-stop, and plenty of family games to play as well. A small but full kitchen means we could cook our own meals when we wanted to, and the dog friendliness meant we could bring the dog as well!

It was such a nice cottage and the atmosphere was perfect for a couple night getaway with my family. It was nice that we could bring our dog with us too.

We loved our stay at the cottage! It was perfect for our family of five, plus dog. Beautiful surroundings, and incredible value. Perfect for our short ski trip at Stowe. And the eggs straight from the farm and Ice Cream straight from Ben & Jerry’s were present surprises for the whole family. I highly recommend the cottage and hope to return!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay this past weekend for our ski trip. The cottage is a convenient location to Stowe Resort, local grocery store, restaurants, etc. Carole and Tom were very responsive to any questions we had and the fresh eggs were wonderful. Our kids enjoyed visiting with the animals after our long days of skiing. The location is very quiet and peaceful would recommend for those looking to stay a little outside of Stowe.
