To describe my 2 months stay at Anna's and Michael's house, it felt like I was house sitting my Auntie/Uncle's house (I mean it in a positive way - just to be clear). It was homey, lots of books, arts, complete amenities and kitchen gadgets. They provide clear and detailed instructions on how to operate everything in their house. Location is good. Away from the noise of mains street and Fitzroy's hustle and bustle but close enough to tram, bus, train, bakeries and cafes.

My family stayed in the house for just over a month and they were acsolutlu delighted, felt a home. Anna and Michael were absolutely the best hosts. Understanding, accommodating, warm and hospitable. The house is fantastic and in great conditions. No doubt the best place to be for a stay in the Fitzroy area. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Anna and Michaels house for 4 months and found it ideally located close to transport exploring what Melbourne has to offer. Foodies paradise with great walks on your doorstep from where you can explore Yarra river parks and scenic walks. The house has a lovely layout and we found it quiet and peaceful with big windows overlooking a nice little outdoor garden area. Highly recommended as it has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

We stayed here for 3 months and had a great time. Anna & Michael are the perfect hosts - they sorted any issues quickly and provided lots of information about the house and area. The area was ideal - quiet but close to everything including the train station to get to the CBD quickly. We especially liked Mitte, the cafe around the corner, and Northcote, a 10 minute walk away where there’s a great cinema, yoga studio, health food store and lots of restaurants.

My daughter and I visited Melbourne to see the Dior Exhibition at the NGV and chose Anna and Michael’s house as our base rather than a hotel as we wanted to experience life in inner-suburban Melbourne. It served its purpose perfectly. The house was clean, tidy, comfortably furnished and artistically decorated. The house is as described and even lovelier than the photos suggest. The kitchen had everything we needed. The heaters were well located and quickly warmed up the house when we arrived home each day. The self-check in and check out was very welcome as we arrived late on the Tuesday night and left quite early on the Saturday morning. Anna and Michael have put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring guests feel welcome in their home and have a comfortable stay. The basket of goodies and useful information about the house, local area, shops, and transport etc were very much appreciated. The house is in a very quiet, convenient and safe location. It was a short walk to the trams, trains, and buses and the local supermarket was very large, well stocked, and with comparable prices to the majors. The local area and nearby suburbs e.g., Fitzroy and Collingwood are full of good cafes, interesting boutiques, quirky little shops, street art, and lovely architecture, and well worth exploring. As Anna and Michael were away during our stay, we primarily communicated with Justine who was very helpful and prompt to reply.
