la casa è in un luogo incantevole, a poca distanza dal paese, ma come isolata da tutto. Gli spazi interni sono rustici, ma con un'estetica molto curata e l'atmosfera è ovunque calda e accogliente. La vista sul fiume e sugli alberi è speciale. gli spazi esterni sono ampi e molto belli e ricchi di possibilità. Peccato che noi non abbiamo potuto goderne appieno per via del brutto tempo e della pioggia. A ogni modo, un'esperienza indimenticabile.

we have had such an amazing experience staying here. Eclectic unique house in an exquisite location. Katrin was a great host, great communication and great local recommendations and advice. The house is testament to her artistic taste. Swimming in the river(walking upstream and swimming with the gentle current). Fabulous. You should be a competent swimmer with the current though. Brivio a few minutes away is lovely. Great base for city visits and mountains and lakes. We hired bikes from Decathlon in Lecco. (probably better options if you are organised ahead of arrival). The cycle track on the river is fantastic. We would also recommend taking the bikes in a car to Ballabio and cycling up the hairpins to Piano Resinelli and on up to the Belvedere observation viewpoint. One of the best holidays we've ever had. So relaxing!

Katrins place is so beautifull❣️ Almost all the furnuture she made herself. It had a lot of space with 3 lovely bedrooms. The bathroom is a little bit old but everything works. And if you look through every window you see the mountains and Lake. Adda. Katrins daughter was our host, and she was soooo great. Gave us a lot of tips and was helpfull for answering our questions. The big kitchen has everything to cook delicious meals and sit at the big table and eat and talk for hours. Unfurnately there are a lot of muscito’s inside and outside. They eat you day and night...so we didn’t eat outside in the evening. The garden is grown a little bit wild. You have to love that. There are also chickens and cats, what is so lovely. So a real farm nature feeling with a fantastic few at the lake. Supermarkt is 3 minutes drive, village Brivio is 2 minutes drive and has a few restaurants and shops. Bergamo is a nice city to visit. And go walking in the mountains in Erve with the little waterfalls. It is a dream. And swimming in the Lake Adda is terrific( be carefull with your feet because there are a lot of stones in the lake) anyway , me and my family had a lovely time here with relaxing, walking, eating and staring at the beautifull nature. So if you like nature, silence and a nice good energy well furnuted place.......Check Katrins house for yourself. ✨

Interior of the house even better than the pictures. So tasteful ! Calm and quiet, lovely house. Incredibly available and open host. We did the quick trek recommended by Katrin in the mountain to the sources and loved it ! A few things to have in mind : - have some shoes to bathe in the river, - the mosquitoes are incredibly agressive, don’t stop in the shade or they will bite you, - not super practical to eat in the garden cause you have to get out of the apartment and down a big brick stair, then round the house to reach the garden. But the kitchen is super so that’s ok. - can’t really walk along the river on this side of the house : there is a nice pathway but on the other side of the house. Reach it by car, by bike, or swim across the river if you have those advised shoes and can fight the current - the house is not far from a quite passing road. Less secluded we had imagined, but that’s ok. Overall we highly recommend this peaceful house !
