This newly built loft-style apartment atop a classic Altbau (pre-war) building just 100 meters east of the former Berlin Wall has been designed in a unique style with beautiful wide natural oak floors in all rooms, natural stone tiles in the bathroom and natural light flooding the open living space, dining and kitchen area 360º. 90 square meters (970 sq ft). 2 bedrooms, one king-size organic coconut double mattress on tatami frame and one queen-size traditional double bed. 2 balconies, one facing north with charcoal grill and dining table, and one facing south with sunbed and a panoramic city view including the TV Tower. This side gets very warm on sunny days, great for sun-bathing and growing mediterranean vegetables in summer despite our continental weather. Our kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, Nespresso, Aeropress coffee press with Hario hand grinder (for you coffeephiles), temperature-adjustable water kettle, all wares and more tools than you'll need. Bathroom equipped with separate shower and tub, hair dryer, and washing machine. Large screen, high-contrast plasma HDTV (great for movies), with AppleTV and Blu-Ray/DVD library (no cable TV, but can sync computer or Apple device directly to TV). Ultra high-speed wireless internet. We keep our apartment green with a number of plants inside and outside the apartment, and we kindly ask you to kindly treat them, perhaps watering them occasionally during your stay. All in all, it's a great place to hang out in and return to after a long day or night exploring Berlin.
