克利夫兰(Cleveland) · 出租单元里的独立房间 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住1人 · Live near CCF, CWRU, CMA etc
A furnished English Basement apartment partly above/partly below ground space. Not perfect but good enough for wee humble folk—possibly you— to work, dream, or study in. Repurposed and found goods make this one bedroom plus bath work-in-progress feel homey. Green views, wood floors, funky but clean bath, kitchen and living spaces harking back to Grandma’s days remind us to protect and value what we already have. Electric appliance based kitchen flanks bathroom on one side and bedroom on the other. A small living room faces park lined street.
Had a great stay. Arcey and Julie were lovely hosts. Area felt safe and there was plenty to see and do nearby.
Great place to stay, as a medical student I had all the amenities I needed (kitchen, private bathroom and bedroom). Julie was very courteous towards me, we used to hang out on the weekends, and they were very helpful whenever I asked for anything (if i was missing some tomatoes they'd share with me some or take me to a grocery store to get some...) I think for the price, amenities and quality of host, this place is a true hidden gem in Cleveland. I would totally recommend it to any student going to cleveland clinic, the bus stop is literally 1 minute walk away from the house, and it takes you directly to CCF in 7 minutes. Overall it was a great place to stay.
This place will appeal to those who don’t want modern and perfect, but love older places with character. It was so much better than I could of imagined. It was perfect for me to stay here and recharge daily while my husband was in Cleveland Clinic for the week. The true bonus was the interesting conversations I had with the owners. Wonderful people.
I absolutely loved my stay. The apartments were a little “run-down” in the general sense but it is an old traditional building that hasn’t lost its touch. I highly recommend if you’re the type of person that feels you’re living like a traveler, and ok that the house isn’t modern. For some foreigners like myself relate to the way home are overseas still.

*We highly encourage visitors to approach their stay as they would visiting any American metropolis at this time. Below you’ll find suggestions we’ve gleaned from the web for tourists visiting large US cities. It suggests the following:
“Avoid drawing attention to yourself as a tourist: don't stand on street corners looking at maps and do your best to walk confidently. Be aware of your surroundings. Using mass-transit, keep your wallet in your front pocket, rather than the rear, and keep your purse closed and held in front of you or on the side. Don't flaunt jewelry, cameras, your smartphone or cash in public. If you need to organize your wallet, duck into a store. Use caution when using ATMs and don't carry too much cash around with you -- most places accept credit cards and there are ATMs everywhere. After dark, stick to main streets if you don't know where you are going. When in doubt of your destination or the safety of a neighborhood, take a cab/uber, especially late at night.”
