Perfect spot at the beginning of my backpacking trip in Shenandoah. Lisa and Scott are awesome hosts, the B&B is a hiker‘s dream space with cozy shared spaces, spotless rooms, and an amazing breakfast. These are people who clearly love the hiking community and go above and beyond. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at Lisa and Scott's only one night but would love to have stayed longer. They were gracious hosts, made a delicious breakfast for us and couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. they were all so extremely friendly and full of interesting information about the home and the area.We hope to return again.

Het was vanochtend gezellig met de andere gasten en onze gastheer- en vrouw. De hiker vertelt over zijn (werk)-keuzes in het leven; hij probeert ruimte te scheppen om 4 keer per jaar te wandelen. Een stel uit Florida is op huizenjacht in Virginia. Florida is te druk, ze wiilen rust en ruimte. Onze gastheer- en vrouw vertellen over hun werk, over de koop van het pand en de verbouwing ervan en natuurlijk over zijn hike, de Appalachian trail. Dan gaat ieder zijn of haar weg. Dit samenzijn van mensen die elkaar niet kennen en toch goed met elkaar spreken is mooi en dat hadden we in de afgelopen dagen niet meegemaakt, elders. Nog mee complimenten: heerlijk ontbijt en zowaar een voetbalbak op de kamer! De bedden waren nu niet geweldig. Dat is op te lossen!
