Cathy is a very thoughtful, flexible and proactive host. Her place was also condusive for a family with young kids which is very helpful in reducing the amount of items you need to pack for a trip away. Unfortunately we did not have great weather, but her cosy and clean home provided a relaxing getaway we needed. It's convenient access to Beach No. 1 as well as to the shops, eateries and playground. Cathy also made checkout very easy, unlike some other places I've stayed at, she has minimal expectations of her guests to contribute to cleaning as we are on holiday after all and have enough to juggle with young kids. We'd highly recommend her place.

Great place for a getaway with all the amenities and very family friendly. Our son loved all the toys and we loved the appliances. The pizza oven was a real treat and Cathy was lovely to chat with. Would definitely stay again

Great place to stay, and Cathy was an awesome host - let us check in early and leave late! It's super easy to find and the path through to the beach is awesome. Venus Bay is very quiet with not too much going on, but for a relaxing, quiet area with no distractions, it's perfect.

Our stay at Cathy's Venus Bay retreat was simply enchanting. The cottage exudes warmth and charm, with an inviting fireplace and a picturesque backyard featuring a pizza oven and fire pit. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, and Cathy's thoughtful touches made our stay unforgettable.
