It was a once in a lifetime experience and surely a very special one. Peter has done an amazing job in creating the treehouse the way he did, with no harm for the tree itself.

It’s our first time in Costa Rica. As so we wanted the full Costa Rica experience, we booked a stay at the Nature Observatorio and we didn’t regret it! We booked in advance as its high season in CR right now. Peter is very fast in his response and any quiestion is answered quickly. As we arrived Theresa was already waiting for us and took us through the jungle to the treehouse. She knows a lot about the envorinment and showed us around. She is so friendly and willing to answer all the questions. We were lucky to see the spider monkeys twice. We were a little nervous about ‘climbing up’ the treehouse but it is very safe. The treehouse is clean and comes with everything you need. We loved it! We would recommend it if you are a little adventurous! Peter, Theresa and Luis thank you very much for this once in a lifetime experience!! I don’t think a lot of people can say they slept in the jungle 25 m high! Thanks for making it happen!!

The most spectacular sleepover I have ever experienced. The magic of the forest is overwhelmingly beautiful. Brian and Luis were wonderful. The treehouse is extraordinary.

"To view the jungle from high above the tree line is one of the most rewarding experiences, and certainly one of the top joys of life." Nature Observatorio is a beautiful treehouse suspended 25 meters up on a tree in the middle of the jungle in the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge at the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Enjoy wonderful nature hike through primary forest, exercise yourself climbing the tree with ropes, and get the fresh air from the ocean and incredible views of trees, animals and birds from our canopy. You can climb yourself up or you can be comfortable pulled up with an elevation system. Its a modern unique design, not a single nail is harming the tree. We use solar panels for led lights, an eco-toilet and shower with rain water. To arrive we will walk for about 45 minutes inside the forest from where we park the car. Observatorio has two bedrooms with capacity up to 4 persons. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price as well as fruits, drinks and snacks. This project is only for adventure and nature lovers. If you don't want to spend the night there you can just visit it for a half or full day tour. Either or, you are up for something very special. We will be delighted to welcome you in our Amazing Treehouse.
