The surroundings are beautiful and once it was warmed up it was a cosy cottage, which took a bit of time as no-one had been in before us. Then it was lovely, the fire was needed as it was March, and the TV and DVD player, and under floor heating after full day walks very welcome. The wood and kindling provided for the fire was great. Lucinda was on hand for anything needed and genuinely lovely. I would say perfect for two, or two couples. The upstairs room has very steep steps if being used. I would stay again, for special occassions as the price is high (not helped by the service fees!) although the discount was appreciated. If we had known we could have checked in earlier, sooner, the extra time would have been great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Potato Barn. Lucinda was helpful and communicative throughout, and the property was exactly what we needed as a base for exploring this area of Wales. We’ll be planning to come back in the summer!

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of Wales. Hosts were lovely and the plate of welsh cakes on arrival were delicious! Thank you for a great stay.

We were a group of 4 adults . Potato barn requires a car but beautiful beaches with in 10 minutes drive and excellent pub 25 minute walk away. The signage needs attention as we found it difficult to find when we first arrived. Our host Lucinda was very responsive and helpful . The kitchen is super well eqipped and we enjoyed eating in a lot. The 3rd bedroom does have ladder steps and limited head room which meant one of us slept on the sofa . This room would be suitable for 2 children rather than 2 adults but we were extremely happy at Potato Barn and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful location , secluded and peaceful. Good position for exploring the coast line near to stackpole a quay and Bosherston, freshwater east,great beaches at barafundle and broadhaven,great time recommended for a great break.
