自我介绍

Octobero 2022-- a bit of an update. I want this at the beginning if for some reason you don't ready my entire profile. Guests will need to be covid vaccinated and show proof. I expect guests to understand the importance of washing your hands when cooking and before and after the facilities and coming home. I am sorry but my home is NOT conducive to guests working from home. I come and go and do various thing in the home--cleaning, playing the piano. The dog has started barking more in his old age (just at nothing!). Also, noise tends to travel easily -- people talking on the telephone -- rooms are not sound proof. If you are working from home I can not except you. Lasty, the placement of the rooms do not make it easy to avoid all the daytime noise. I have this large home here in the great beautiful Northwest. I find it a waste that it is so empty except for my Siamese cat and my true baby- my dog(he is a bit cranky but does fine with the guests, barks at the activity in the neighborhood--a watch dog for the nieghbors across the street!). I love meeting people. Why not share some of my space with others? I grew up with my mother having large family gatherings or parties. So, keeping a neat and tidy house was something that is part of me . I do have hardwood floors throughout the upstairs including all the rooms. I do not clean daily and thus with the animals'dander/ the dust bunnies show up. I do not clean the guests rooms, it is your repsonsibility --especially long term or short term guests. Since, I do not clean guests rooms it is their responsibility during their stay. I aslo would like the long term guests to help in the kitchen -- empyting the dishwasher, dish rack, take our the recycling but sort of a roommate not here as a guest. The hardwood floors will show more animal dander/dust bunnies than carpet--hardwood floors are cleaner and better for those with allergies. I am a busy person with a varied schedule between my work schedule and my social life which includes riding horses, ballroom dancing plus social dancing and various other activities. I like to cook and sometimes will offer for you to join me in trying my new recipe. My home is decorated with my Brazilian embroidery which I try to find some time to do. The interaction with guests is as much or little as they would like depending on my availability of course! I encourage guests to get out of their room and use the rest of the home. I do like long term guests--I feel this is more of a home environment -- especially with the location of two of the rooms -- they are not off in the corner of the home away from the main house. The room are in the direct path of the animals and my room. I have added learning Spanish to my busy life. This has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I should have learned Spanish vs German years ago! I have had non English speakers or minimal English speakers here with little problem. Long terms guests are here often. If you are interested in staying, some of the guests (almost every Summer) have been Boeing interns, vet interns ( VCA is nearby, walking distance) and vet techs, Pharmacist interns, optometry interns and engineering student at nearby bussinesses. The transit center is a healthy walk to go into Seattle to explore or work! There is street parking which is totally safe or the driveway. Welcome! I hope to see you and share the Northwest with you.
