We spent 9 relaxing day say The Strand. We are repeat guests for about 8 years. Beautiful, well appointed oceanfront condo. Safe area with many local restaurants. Jo’s local representative was wonderful and met us upon arrival and checkout. Thanks for another great vacation!
Condo was very nice and within walking distance to the downtown attractions. Very nice restaurants along the way to downtown. Felt very safe while walking along road to get downtown. Pool and small lagoon were very nice to hang out in.
We had an amazing stay! The apartment is clean, clutter-free, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need for longterm stays. The beach area is very well-maintained, private, and absolutely gorgeous. It was easy to find chairs and palapas every day. The water is calm and fairly shallow, perfect if you have small children, and also perfect if you just enjoy a peaceful beach to come home to after a day of activities. We found it easy (by car) to get to many beaches on the island for scuba diving and snorkelling. The area is very safe and there are many good restaurants are within walking distance. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Saskia, who had also placed some cold beverages in our fridge for us to enjoy. Much appreciated after our long flight. Wonderful place, would absolutely stay here again!
Jo's place is exactly as pictured. The kitchen, appliances, and spaces were perfect for a vacation for 4-5 people. The private bay was amazing. If you enjoy snorkeling, this spot is perfect. The pool was always clean and it's such a private place, the pool and beach area never felt busy. It is easily walkable into Willemstad and there are 2 coffee places within a few minutes walk. We rented a car and were able to navigate easily to both sides of the island (east and west). This condo is inside a gated area and we always felt safe no matter what time of day. I would stay here again!
Jo’s place was great. Fantastic private beach & walkable to the city and right next to all the best restaurants. Very responsive host if needed. Would recommend and stay here again
