My daughter and I spent a lovely weekend in Shawn's home while in the area looking at colleges. Such a charming place, with so many places to enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. My favorite part was falling asleep to the view from the main bedroom. I especially appreciated the privacy curtains throughout the house - we felt safe and cozy at night. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the dock / lake!

This is a review for the downstairs unit - https://abnb.me/bX0myUptPyb Shawn switched us after a realizing she had double booked upstairs, and was gracious about providing a heads up and partial refund. The downstairs unit has a good-size kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The living room area is tight with a small couch, but you'll probably want to spend more time outside after stepping onto the deck and seeing the gorgeous view of the lake, with your own picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Lot of stairs to get down into the unit, could be difficult for those with mobility challenges. Also includes a reserved parking spot.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Very clean. Shawn was very easy to work with and gave clear and easy to follow instructions. The parking is definitely tight, but was easy to navigate with the directions given. The sunrises alone make this place worth it.

A beautiful location that was perfect for what I needed. Our host Shawn was very friendly. The only thing that was challenging is the driveway. Be forewarned it’s steep and requires care when pulling in and out.
