Wonderful stay with our family of 4, it was clean, plenty of space, comfy beds, one night my daughter said “I can’t wait to go to sleep, the bed is so comfy” nice clean bathrooms, our favorite was the blue rooms “European” bathroom, that’s what we called it. Took some time for the water to heat up but that’s to be expected in a big old house. Katie was very good at responding Very well stocked kitchen, nice backyard, wish the weather would have been nicer to spend more time out there. Walkable to downtown, we visited the end of March and a lot of the businesses were still closed for the season, but we made the best of it. Make sure to stop at Rare books, Left Bank Shop & Gallery, The Spoonful, Paper Moon, Jades River Queen (yummy bar pizza) and the Backwoods for some yummy smoked ribs and broasted chicken A very peaceful getaway, I would recommend any of Katie’s places, if they’re as nice as the McGregor Manor, you won’t be disappointed!!

We had a lovely stay in this 100+ year old home. It was so charming and delightfully quirky with its slightly slanted floors and old world charm. The house is very nicely decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. Katie was immediately responsive with questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent again for future family gatherings!!

This house was perfect for our family’s Thanksgiving get together. It is by a park for the kids and close to downtown. Katie was helpful and quick to respond. Would come back again.
