This beautiful apartment in a building from the 1890's has all the modern conveniences you'd want but also a feeling of elegance and style that makes you feel like a Parisian. Marika was wonderful, there to meet us when we arrived, took all the time needed to show us around and explain the appliances, and was available for help whenever we needed it. The apartment has all the touches that make it feel very homey (live plants, pictures, etc.) but it also is elegant in every way.

For five weeks I lived in Paris in Marika's lovely apartment, and I truly felt immersed in the culture and lifestyle. Marika explained the apartment workings and the neighborhood to me, and was there whenever I needed her. This beautiful, spacious apartment is so well equipped, so perfectly located, and was ideal for me when I was alone or had guests. I could walk to the left bank or the Louvre or just five minutes away enjoy Parc Monceau (a mini Central Park) and the local museums. Restaurants and cafes, patisseries, pharmacies, boulangeries, fromageries, the monoprix-all are within a few minutes walk. The metro, another 4 minute walk, takes you everywhere-inside Paris and beyond. I felt perfectly safe during the day and late at night. I loved every minute of my sojourn in Paris and particularly living at 130 Boulevard Malesherbes.

Our family of 4 (with 2 teens) greatly enjoyed our stay at Marika’s apartment. It is very spacious, full of style as a typical Haussmann apartment, very clean and located in a very nice residential area. TV had Netflix (good for our daughters!), laundry and dryer are separate and work well, dishwasher too. Croissants and breads were there to welcome us. Also Marika was very responsive and attentive. Like most Parisian apartments it does not have air conditioning (5 vertical fans were available though) and we happen to experience the worst heatwave in the history of Paris. So that was difficult but it would have been pretty much anywhere. Also the apartment has a single separate toilet and two bathrooms (one bath, one shower) without toilet. We had not fully understood that. We ended up managing just fine. In any case, we had a really great stay at the apartment and loved the neighborhood. We felt like real Parisians there! This flat was so lovely, clean and big. Marika is graceful and thoughtful. My daughters and I loved this place and the location was near a terrific area for shopping for groceries and fresh vegetables and fruit.
