Graca's place was just perfect for us. We rented a car and there was a private parking area around back. An elevator to get up to the apartment made it very easy. The apartment had a wonderful view of the ocean and Ponta Delgada. We had everything we needed nearby. Graca was a gracious and fun host.

Graça was a lovely and welcoming hostess. Our flight arrived late and she was very understanding and was outside the apartment when we arrived to help with check-in. She took the time to show us exactly how to get into the apartment, the best places to park (includes private parking) and provided us with attraction and car rental recommendations. She even had an ice cold beer and water waiting for us both in the fridge. She was very easy to reach throughout the stay whenever necessary and the apartment was very clean and definitely budget friendly especially for the amount of space. We would definitely stay here again!!

Graça was always available to help with requests even on Easter weekend! The parking in the building lot was especially welcome. The view was fantastic, something to wake up to. The location was perfect- a 10 minute walk to downtown, 5 min to the mall and gas station and 12 min drive to the airport.

Graça was a wonderful host. Our flight was delayed coming into PDL, & she stayed at the coffee shop for over an hour after we were supposed to arrive so we could get the keys and a tour of the entire apt. Also her black out shades are 💯!! Her prior-to-our-arrival list of local spots to eat at and know about was so helpful. (My tip: Make sure you make a reservation at Tony’s in Furnas to eat at after you go to Poca da Beija for the “hot iron water” AKA hot springs! The home is beautiful, the parking is easy and wonderful that she has a spot for you to park behind the gate because you really need to rent a car to appreciate the full experience of São Miguel. The view of the school’s garden off the decks is gorgeous, plus the frogs singing at night are soothing! It’s a little thing but one of the best features of the amenities was the hair dryer she provided! It was a Babyliss pro 2100W! Not traveling with one’s own hairdryer was an easy sacrifice when staying at Graça’s place!
