I have stayed at a number of garden district rentals, and this was a good one. Street parking was no problem. I usually come at Mardi Gras and I might worry a bit more about finding street parking at that time. But in late May it was no problem at all. I stayed with my brother, who was in an AirBnb for the first time, and he fell in love with this home. Extremely good location for our trip. Once more, for Mardi Gras note that St. Charles, Tchopitoulas, Canal, Napoleon, and Jefferson will all often be blocked off on parade days, so that this area gets a little bit boxed in (if being stuck in the garden district next to Magazine Street is really so bad). At those times you can still take Magazine down to I-10 and get out of the box and go wherever you want, it just becomes a little harder. During late May it was simply a great location. The home is quite comfortable and very workable. Quiet neighborhood.

As a Superhost of an Airbnb in Houston, I have some Pros and Cons regarding this Airbnb. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would stay here again if there was nothing else in the neighborhood available. Pros: The location was incredible! Just as described and walking distance to great shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Very cute neighborhood with charm. The record player with variety of records was fun. Cons: Would have loved better amenities for the price of the stay. For example, The coffee creamer is powdered corn syrup solids, the hand soap was watered down, dishes are cleaned by the previous guest so we had some that were still dirty, the pillows were thin, but at least there are extra in the closet so you can stack several.

Had a great time with girlfriends. We loved the quick walk to Magazine street - great shops and restaurants. The place had everything we needed!

Shannon was very accommodating and when I needed something she was there. The home was amazing. I didn’t want to leave I loved it so much. The neighbors are super friendly and gave great tips for the surrounding neighborhood. I loved walking my dog around everyday for hours just to see all the amazing homes in this neighborhood as well as the restaurants and shops. This home will not disappoint. It’s cozy and clean and just what we were looking for. Fun for a couple, friends or family. We will stay here again.
