Elva and Luis are such sweet people! They prepared breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, bread, and coffee. Luis makes chocolate and also shares his homemade peanut butter chocolate! I loved the experience overall and the location was great. They consider their house like outdoor living so the space was very private and plenty of areas so relax outside in the shade.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Elva war schön. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung passen zu dem was wir vorgefunden haben. Leider konnten wir den schönen Pool und Außenbereich nicht nutzen, da ich krank war zu unserem Aufenthalt. Dafür kann aber niemand was und Elva hat sogar Tee gekocht. Trotzdem haben uns diese zwei Nächte viel Geld gekostet. Unsere Verbesserungsvorschläge für ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: eine gut kühlende Klimaanlage und evtl. das Frühstück etwas reichhaltiger zubereiten. Dann können wir Elvas schöne Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Elva has such a beautiful home and I feel honored to have been a guest here at her tropical oasis. She & her husband Luis have created a beautiful, peaceful and welcoming environment and are both friendly & hospitable. My room had the perfect amount of privacy next to the pool and breathtaking views from my private balcony. There was plenty of space for me to work at my desk in the room or to enjoy the tropical garden on the shared patio. I was worried that I would impose in the shared kitchen & spaces, but it was not a problem at all. On the contrary, Elva prepared fresh fruit & coffee each morning and I even got a mini lesson from Luis on making chocolate as he patiently worked on husking hundreds of cacao beans. This is a beautiful home with lovely hosts. Highly recommend!

This apartment is beautiful and quiet, with an excellent pool and ocean views. It is a little tricky to give directions to (for a taxi driver or for food delivery) because there is no real street or house address, especially if you don’t speak much Spanish like we did, but you can make it work. Elva was a great host who was always reachable when we needed something. We would definitely stay here again.
