my feet are my strongest endorsement for this cabin, as this was now my third stay in less than a year: an open-sky view, with an easily-accessible large deck, from which one doesn't hear any man-made noise (including car noise), is paradise in my book. The inside is compact and tastefully furnished, with natural wood accents. Windows are excellent, and room-darkening shades work perfectly. When needed, Smart TV works great, and nice that each bedroom has total privacy, situated on opposite sides of the living room, and each with its own full bathroom. And Tom and Mary Ellen are great, responsive, and flexible hosts.

Our stay at Mary Ellen and Tom’s cabin was amazing! It’s located in a secluded, peaceful area and is driving distance to a lot of fun towns! My family and I loved relaxing on the porch and watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset from the mountains. Our dog loved the spacious backyard and settled right in, even as a naturally anxious pup. Would definitely love to come back!

This place was extremely peaceful and private. The views are everything that's described and can be seen from both bedrooms and the living area. Very open and spacious and had all the modern ameneties. Definitely would stay again if I want to go back to enjoy the hiking in the area! Centrally located to the most popular trailheads! Great little gas station/convenience store right at the end of the road that literally has everything and a very sweet couple that run it!

Gorgeous location, with a view of the mountains in a serene setting. The home is cozy, with all you need to relax. The grill and fire pit are just perfect, as is the hammock. would 100% stay here again.

Great place to stay if you are looking to hike the Catskills and explore the towns of Hudson and Catskill nearby. We had everything we needed for a long weekend and loved the view from the porch.
