Amazing location in the middle of red wood trees and next to a state park with many more impressive redwood trees. Very close to Santa Cruz Center and University. Peaceful place. Mateo was always very responsive. Wish we would have had more time in the area. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

This was one of the most magical places we have ever stayed! You are smack dab in the middle of the Redwoods and Mateo’s spot is unbelievable! It’s right out of a children’s storybook. Mateo was so great and responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend his place and look forward to our return one day!

Mateo's unit is truly a hidden gem, it was such a peaceful and serene stay. My jaw literally dropped as I was making the last few turns off the freeway. What a gorgeous area and property. Mateo had excellent communication & instructions, and was there to meet me when I arrived. I loved quiet mornings sipping coffee on the redwood-surrounded porch, listening to the stream and birds. Even though the weather was chilly I'm so glad to have used the hot tub in this most perfect setting. I also loved the proximity to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park & restaurants in town (I enjoyed Redwood Pizza, IWok Chinese & the Wild Roots Natural Market) all walkable from the unit. Thank you, can't wait to be back! :)
