Kira's cottage in Harrisville was very conveniently located near a wedding we were attending at Cobb Hill Estate. It was a good value for the number of beds included. It is a very old house decorated throughout with antique items and books. The pictures and description accurately represented the property. We did not use the kitchen or living room downstairs, but everything upstairs--the bathroom and heaters--was in good working order. Despite the age of the house, we did not observe any ghosts or other supernatural activity. One thing to note is that it seems they are constructing a deck in back, and there was some construction debris around the outside of the property. Our only complaints were: (1) the main bedroom upstairs was filled with hundreds of dead ticks on the carpets and even on the bed. We decided not to sleep there and chose the other bedroom upstairs instead, which was clean and cheery and had no ticks. (2) The internet was slow to the point of being nearly unusable.
