Sudan and Ajita and the family are extremely welcoming. They worked hard to help me feel at home. Ajita cooked a delicious Nepali dinner and Sudan put me in touch with a friend who offered great trekking advice. They are friendly, take an interest in you as a person and willing to help in any way they can. The hostel is a 30 minute walk from Thamel and in a quieter part of town so great if you want somewhere a little more peaceful.

I love the bright and airy space that the room provides! Even in night time, the lighting was fabulous and a far cry from the many dim lightings that are so prevalent in many Nepali stays. So greatly appreciate that! The room is spacious and how lovely that is. The staff receiving us was so welcoming and helpful too. Suraj and Sara were lively hosts too :) But as our room was part of the backpacker hostel that the owners also own, would like to suggest that this be explained when guests book the room, so that we know what to expect. Thank you!

Very nice friendly family. Ready to help you at any time whatever you need. We went for the EBC trek and had a good deal with Suraj that also run a trek agency. Airport transfer , sim card, they have really helped us a lot. Also we dined together on the first night and the food was genuine Nepalese style. The place is 40min walk to thamel and easy accessible from airport about 25min taxi. It was a pleasant experience with a very welcoming family. Lovely Daughter made us a little artwork that we happily take with us. Thanks for everything .we would stay again! !!
