A great stay with some lovely people. Be sure to read the description first! The layout/convenience of things may differ from what you're used to from travel elsewhere. If that's not a problem, highly recommend staying here.

Le studio (car c’est plus qu’une chambre chez l’habitante) est parfaitement conforme à la description, très bien situé et suffisamment équipé pour un séjour en ville. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse de nos hôtes, avec lesquels nous avons eu d’agréables discussions. Nous avons bien profité des vélos qu’ils nous ont prêtés pour visiter la ville. Seul bémol la literie, le matelas était beaucoup trop mou et creusé à notre goût. Cela ne nous a cependant pas gâché le plaisir du séjour !

J’ai passé un excellent séjour. Annemarie et Erik sont très accueillants et disponibles si besoin. L’emplacement en plein centre d’Amsterdam est très pratique pour visiter, se balader, faire des resto... Le logement était propre, fidèle à la description. Encore merci !

Staying at Annemarie’s house, I felt listened to, respected in terms of choice, preference, communication, and whereabouts/privacy. I was so valued as a guest and a friend. We had some lovely times sharing conversation or compassionate silence. Dinners and drinks. Annemarie has excellent communication and brings joy to your stay; along with bikes that work super well, a pretty house cat, a beautiful house in general, and a mature and confident approach to outlining household/guest boundaries and requests etc. The property is excellent; warm when needed to be, pretty and cosy, in an excellent location near sights and sounds and travel and dinner/drinks etc. I would have preferred the bed and table to be arranged as it was in the pictures ( mostly because I think sleeping not facing the door triggers a little caveman brain reaction of being a bit restless) but otherwise it’s a gem. (Just remember to go outside rather than stay between four walls all day till it’s dark - might go mad)
