We have used Airbnb for over 12 years, booking over 50 places and this was one of the top places we've stayed. They were welcoming and accomodating. They have a lot of very nice amenities and they took the time to explain them to us and show us how to operate them. We are cooks and chefs and the kitchen and equipment was magnificent! We had an 80th birthday celebration for my husband and used the pellet grill for cooking the salmon. Then the next night we did pizza in the pizza oven. Elizabeth had demonstrated how to use it and it was so delightful to have our own pizzas prepped and cooked by us. There is plenty of room inside and out. There are outdoor games and indoor games. We did some of both! Cornhole was a favorite and we had impromtu tournaments! The outdoor lighting was great, subtle. The place was as close to perfect for our needs as can be! We are thankful to the hosts for sharing their magnificent home.
We loved staying here. The wood stove was a huge hit with our group, and I've never seen such a great kitchen, with every item I could ever think of needing. The collection of electic items, both vintage (beautiful, chipped China pieces from another time) and state of the art (that FRIDGE, wow! was amazing.) we will absolutely be back. Amazing place for a family reunion, with lots of space something for everyone. loved it!
The Lady Florence is a true grande dame - and truly the perfect place for our family group of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids) - we loved the pickleball, made good use of the pizza oven and smoker, and loved the comfortable house and all the space… It’s a great base for exploring the islands and surrounding area, and what a lovely family story Elizabeth has. Wonderful stay!!

This house is incredible, one of those places you have to experience if you love historic homes filled with gorgeous furniture and art. This was truly a lovely time for our family of 7. The grounds are amazing and my kids enjoyed exploring every nook. There is a library full of books of all kinds. The house is very big with many rooms. Thank you Betsy and your beautiful family. We felt the love you all have for this place and were so inspired by everything you put into it.

I grew up in a long time farming family in the Stillaguamish River Valley. My parents purchased and remodeled our 1912 American Foursquare home from the ground up starting in 1989. The house you visit today is living her best life after we played our hearts out in it one homeschooled day at a time. Today after 9 years we continue to open her doors to you our guests looking for a reason to get away and soak up some country life.
