This is a quiet stretch of the river and very lovely to watch the water birds and rowers whilst sitting on the deck. Everything about my stay was fantastic. The boat itself is beautiful and very comfortable and spacious for two people to stay in. I worked on my laptop and the internet was stable enough to easily have Teams meetings on. Cambridge is best navigated by bicycle and it’s easy enough to lock a rented bike in the little garden for anyone visiting the city (I had my own bike). I also recommend walking to Barbarella’s cafe which is about 5 minutes walk from the boat, great cake and coffee! Although you could definitely walk to the centre of town or Mill Road for restaurants, cafes, and shops in 30-40 minutes easily. I highly recommend this air bnb!

A beautiful place to be. Being on the river, especially on a sunny weekend, was just gorgeous to see the rowers whizzing past and the swans coming through say hello. It is a well appointed boat and has everything you need for a lovely stay. Richard was very helpful with all info and provided us a lovely breakfast and great recommendations for Cambridge. Would definitely recommend and come back when next in town.

This well-maintained little hideaway promises a wonderful experience. We chose to stay here in part for the novelty of staying in a houseboat on the Cam - it delivered on that front and was also extremely comfortable and well-equipped, plus the breakfast supplies and bottled water showed that Richard appreciates the little touches that can really make an excellent stay. Definitely recommend this option! A heads up for any particularly tall people though - the low cieling of the houseboat means anyone over about 6 foot 4 inches might find it a little snug and would definitely need to duck slightly when moving about the boat. The place is a true gem so worth a look unless you play centre on your local b-ball team :)

Fantastic experience in great location. Many, many years ago I used to go barging with my grandad and uncle and this brought back great memories.

The boat was a lovely quiet place but close enough to Cambridge to walk in and out of town easily. Perfect relaxation.
