We stayed at jay‘s place after a business meeting. Jay was a very welcoming host and was always there if we needed something. Also he has many great stories to tell. The malashree villa is a hidden gem located in a rural area between several coffee farms. Therefore it also makes sense if you arrange a shuttle with jay. Our driver totti was so great that we relied on him driving us all the time during our stay. During our stay the pool was not available but we did not plan on using it anyway. So we had a very nice stay. Thank you.

Jays place was lovely tucked away in the jungle away from crazy ubud city vibes. He was a lovely host who made some delicious meals for us. He also had some great stories to share! It’s a great place and a wonderful host - would recommend!

Это невообразимо прекрасное место, которое обязательно к посещению, как своего рода достопримечательность Убуда. Мы остались в восторге от природы вокруг, просто замечательные виды джунглей, гор и пустотного пространства вокруг. Весь дом, это целое произведение искусства в прямом смысле этого слова (каждая деталь выполнена вручную искусным и творческим хозяином Виллы). Невероятно, как здорово можно сочетать природу и вписать в неё дом. Отдельное спасибо хозяину виллы - Джею, за настоящее, искреннее гостеприимство и все что он для нас сделал за время 4 дневного проживания. Если бы в Airbnb было звание Супер Супер Супер Хост, то Джею точно надо было бы его присвоить. Мы чувствовали себя, как дома и совершенно не хотелось куда-либо уезжать. Обязательно хочется вернуться и пожить там ещё.

If you want a peaceful with back to nature kind of stay, this is the place for you. Jay, the host is a great guy and will help you with anything that you need. Ambience is awesome. Its near the swing, rafting, trekking, ubud market and many more interesting places to visit. A totally out of this world experience compared to the normal city life in Kuta.

When you discover a special beautiful place in the world the temptation is to keep it a secret so no one else can find it ! But I can truly say that a trip to Bali is not complete without a stay at this villa. Breakfast is delicious and tailored to the needs of the guests. We took our four children aged 6 to 16 and they loved it too ! Jay (our host) is outstanding and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He organised a driver for day trips and can prepare a delightful dinner every night for a very reasonable fee. A total gem in the jungle with amazing views ! We did the whole beach and hotel thing as well but this was by far the best part because it was authentic Bali, you are in the jungle and rice paddies, close to the people and the tradition of the island. We absolutely loved staying here and would unreservedly recommend it, can totally see why Malashree was voted in the top three airbnb boutique villas in the world !
