很棒的民宿，独特的装修风格，风景如画，有一只很友好小猫和小狗，离圣泉寺，梯田和京打马尼火山，温泉都比较近，适合放松的居住环境，Jay和他的其他小伙伴都很热情友好，价格实惠，在那吃了几顿饭，Jay的厨艺很棒

这是真正的民宿，店主很热情，在距离圣泉寺不远的森林里，不是特别好找，不过司机直接跟店主电话沟通了位置，顺利到达，自然环境特别棒，房间设计很独特，只是我们遇上阴雨天，房间很潮湿，蚊子很多，身上被咬了几十个包，不过店主立马去买了驱蚊香和喷雾来，睡觉就没有了，只是我丈夫不是很习惯。感谢店主！清净自然的体验！

Wir waren das zweite Mal in dieser Unterkunft und wir haben es geliebt dort zu bleiben. Ein wahres Kunstwerk erbaut mitten in der Natur. Jay ist ein ausgesprochen freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er kochte uns Abendessen und erzählte Geschichten aus dem Leben.

Une très belle adresse à proximité d'Ubud pour ceux qui veulent rester à proximité tout en évitant l'agitation de cette ville qui ne cesse de croître depuis quelques années. Un endroit très paisible et plein de charme au milieu d'une nature luxuriante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Jay qui est un hôte très sympathique et plein de talents. Encore merci pour ce séjour très reposant, le surclassement dans la magnifique villa et les délicieux repas!

Please read this and note the daet of August 2018. All other reviews seemingly are in 2017 or earlier. I think these reviews do not illustrate the stay that we had at Malashree. I feel really uncomfortable writing this review because there were a lot of wonderful things about staying with here. Jay was sweet to us in person, the they make for breakfast and dinner was amazing, Jay even brought gifts for us like our favorite Balinese fruit. But other times were simply neglectful and others seemingly duplicitous. The location is so unclear that we were stranded two miles away and Jay had to pick us up. The photos do not depict how dirty and unkept the place is. We've stayed in open air stays before that were beautiful and well kept. This one is not. Dead bug carcasses everywhere. Jay articulated that he knew, just neglected to inform us that the artist room cieling harbors four wasp nests with ridiculously huge wasps. And he even joked that "Charlotte's Web" spider was here. Which we discovered is the size of my palm in the bathroom. You are in a remote location that you cannot navigate by foot because of all the unattended angry dogs that will literally chase you down the street. By the last day of our stay I felt so conflicted because I liked parts of it, but also felt trapped. I didn't want to leave and face the dogs, but I didn't want to stay or be anywhere in the apartment. I ended up booking my partner and I a place back in ubud for our last night because I couldn't take it anymore. Jay also lacked to communicate what was covered in our stay. One day saying car trips to ubud were covered, but then the next day seeminly told our driver to collect money from us. If we hadn't been able to call him and explain we would have been stranded in ubud with an angry driver. When my partner called, he then told a 3rd story, saying only one of our rides was covered and had us pay the other ride to the driver. We consented but it felt like we were being led on or passive aggresively punished for wanting to leave. It was the most unpleasant airbnb stay I've ever had and you need to know what you're getting into, if you're going to stay here.
